“CHEAP” Holidays …
Today’s market action in the Dax and Eurostoxx is a perfect example, why you should take a break exactly then, when everybody else does
After a X-mas holiday … in a to 2(!!!) days only shortened week … please tell me … WHO TRADES???
The answer is … LOSERS … guys who have not made enough money during the year … or try to avoid their home and families … NOBODY else …
Some have to be in the office to switch lights on and off … but NOBODY, who has a clear mind, TRADES …
I even used to say, that only people who want to betray others and helpless losers are “active” on these days …
And now … HAVE A LOOK … stop
… better to remember the set up first …
We had a nice rally before X-mas … fired up by short covering, squaring positions, the December Expiration … and on 2 “half days” the US markets traded small up …
Not really making progress … even weakening late yesterday …
we had some weak figures from the housing market (what else) …
we had a Goldman Sachs report, that write downs for the big banks will be even higher than thought (what else … they are short … we know that)
and we expected figures which really had no real potential to power the market higher and we had reports that retail sales were really NOT what we could have expected …
SO … all in all a WEAK Setup … expected outcome … LOWER MARKETS …
So … here comes the chart …

This is a ONE(!!!) minute chart … OMG … 100 points UP … on NO NEWS … only because stops triggered stops
… NO COMMENT … Despite …
CHEAP HOLIDAYS
So stay away until the 07th of January … and take care!!!
